Wallet Onboarding

Raven uses Sign-In with Ethereum (SIWE) to record control of a wallet and acceptance of the current risk terms. The flow is gasless and privacy-conscious: no session tokens, just one signature that proves you own the address.

What to expect

  1. Review the terms. Connecting a wallet never triggers a signature automatically. The app shows the current risk terms first.
  2. Confirm explicitly. Tick the checkbox, then click Verify wallet to request the signature.
  3. Sign once. Your wallet signs a human-readable SIWE message bound to Raven's exact origin, the Robinhood Chain network, and a one-time nonce that expires in five minutes.
  4. Optional profile. You may set a username, apply a referral code, and choose whether your profile is discoverable. All three are optional.

Smart wallets are fully supported, signatures are verified onchain for both standard wallets and smart accounts.

Referrals

Referral attribution happens when your profile is first created and is permanent: the first valid referrer is recorded with your wallet. A referral code by itself does not qualify an account for future rewards.

Privacy

  • Signatures, messages, and nonces are never logged.
  • Acceptance evidence and referral attribution are stored append-only.
  • The flow records ownership and consent, nothing more.
